The Platte River Parkway is a non-motorized trail system that runs east to west through the Casper community from the East Casper Soccer Complex to Paradise Valley Park. The Parkway trail is approximately ten miles in length and connects many community parks and recreational areas. The Parkway is a corridor along the North Platte River that provides users the opportunity to exercise and enjoy the river environment including wildlife viewing and water-oriented recreation.

The Parkway Trust is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, created in 1982, with a goal of conserving and developing the river corridor while preserving and protecting the scenic, natural and historic value of the North Platte River environment. A volunteer Board of Directors guides the Parkway Trust and strives to bring together diverse community entities, groups, agencies and individuals to help create an attractive and vital enhancement that we can all be proud of.
